The Rums on this page represent the more "corporate" rums of Hawaii. There are only three rums I know of that are Distilled, aged and bottled in Hawai'i. Maui Rum from Maui, Old Lahaina (not to be confused with Lahaina) and The Koloa Rum Co on Kauai (Page coming soon).

So Called Hawaiian Rums.
Hana Bay makes a Dark, Amber, Light and 151 Rum. I love the dark, it is sweet and flavorful and really inexpensive. The other Hana Bay Rums are kind of bland. Hana bay is bottled in Mira Loma California and imported to Honolulu to a company called Hawaiian Distillers and I am not sure where it is distilled.

Diamond Head Rum is a lot like Hana Bay. The Premium Dark is great as a mixer and the light is rather bad. They also make a macadamia nut liqueur but it is artificially flavored so don't buy it unless you are allergic to mac nuts. Diamond head is imported to Hawaii from the West Indies.

Many people think that Lahaina and Malibu are from Hawaii. Lahaina is from the Virgin islands and Malibu (in the USA) is imported from Canada but from Barbados. Go figure.
